Histon Cricket Club has achieved the ECB's Club Mark status (No. 01079), adopting the ECB's Safe Hands policy and appointing / training a Welfare Officer. It is fully committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment in which to play the finest game in the world.

The club's 1st XI is one of the better amateur teams in the region, with no paid professionals, playing in the Cambridgeshire Cricket Association Senior League, with the 2nd XI and 3rd XI in the Junior League.

The cricket square is maintained by a full-time groundsman who also happens to be the Club Captain, resulting in a superb batting wicket which also offers assistance to bowlers who are prepared to bend their back, crank their wrist or even flex their elbow by up to 20 degrees.

On Saturday evenings all three senior teams congregate at the nearby Railway Vue watering hole.

New members are always welcome at Histon Cricket Club, whatever their age or playing ability.

SENIORS
